A woman who went out for a jog Friday evening is in critical condition, police said, after being stabbed in the neck and left on a waterfront trail in Brooklyn's Bath Beach neighborhood.
Just after 8 p.m. officials said they received a call regarding a person stabbed on a bike path near Bay Parkway and Cropsey Avenue in Bath Beach.
Police found the 28-year-old woman with a stab wound to the neck and transported her to NYU Langone where she was listed in critical condition as of 9:30 Saturday morning.
No arrests have been made and authorities were not able to give a description of a suspect.
