According to the NYPD, the incident happened at 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th, near 153rd Avenue & 88th Street. The 73-year-old woman was walking with her groceries when a young woman took the victim's purse from the cart. Then a man punched the victim in the face, which caused her to fall to the ground.
