The police are hoping the public can help them identify a woman suspected of grand larceny in the Bronx.

According to the NYPD, yesterday morning at 9:25 a.m., a woman engaged a 91-year-old man in a conversation. She took the cane-using senior citizen to a deli at 1030 East Tremont Avenue, and police say, "Once inside, the suspect removed a $100 bill from the victim's pocket and fled the location."

The suspect is described as being 35-45 years old and about 5'4"; she was last seen wearing a black sweater, black skirt and red sneakers. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
