A 23-year-old woman fell off the roof of a Greenwich Village apartment early this morning. According to cops, the woman fell from the roof of a four-story residential building on Sullivan Street just before 1:10 a.m. Sunday. Cops say multiple witnesses saw her "accidentally fall off the roof," allegedly during a rooftop party.
Sources told the Post that the woman had been dancing on the roof when she tripped and lost her balance. The woman was unconscious and unresponsive when police arrived. She was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where she is listed in critical condition. Cops add that the investigation is ongoing.
Update: The Post reports that the woman, who they identify as Brooklyn resident Cindy Yeh, is brain-dead. They add that she had been working as an intern at MoMA.
