Last night around 6:30 p.m., the police responded to a 911 call about shots fired in a Ridgewood, Queens building. Inside an apartment, they found the bodies of a man and woman.

According to the NYPD, the shooting occurred at 1815 Summerfield Street. Natalie Mejia-Tavares, 21, was found shot in the torso and pronounced dead at the scene. A man was found shot in the head; he was also pronounced dead at the scene.

There were "no signs of forced entry" and no gun was found at the scene. The Post reports, "Cops said they’re investigating it as a probable double homicide, but have not ruled out the possibility of a murder-suicide."

1010 WINS says, "A neighbor said the two were a couple living together, and they had just recently moved in."
