Three men were killed last night/early this morning in separate shooting incidents in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan, according to police; two more individuals were injured in shootings, including a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly shot by her 12-year-old brother.

Cops say that at around 9:30 p.m. last night, an unidentified 33-year-old man was shot in the head and shoulder by an unnamed assailant outside a building on Morningside Ave near 123rd Street in Morningside Heights. He was taken to St Luke's Hospital and pronounced dead; officials say they are investigating the incident.

About twenty minutes later, officers say they found 20-year-old Sage Chebere dead of a gunshot wound to his torso on the 2nd floor of a building at Vyse Ave near 181st Street in the Bronx. A second man, an unidentified 34-year-old, was found at the scene with a gunshot wound in his leg and was transported to St. Barnabus Hospital in stable condition.

At 12:20 a.m. this morning, police say they were called to the Howard Houses housing complex at East New York Ave and St. Marks Ave in Brooklyn, where they found a 22-year-old man with two gunshot wounds to his torso. The unidentified man was taken to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced DOA.

And at around 2:25 a.m., cops say a 14-year-old girl sustained a gunshot wound in an apartment on Jamaica Ave in Jamaica, Queens. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition; her 12-year-old brother is believed to have shot her accidentally with a firearm recovered at the scene. The children's 41-year-old mother was also reportedly in the house, along with her boyfriend, a 5-year-old boy and several family friends.
