Here is a very well-written, feel-good story by a Williamsburg woman whose bike was stolen last night and recovered this morning. When author Jami Attenberg got back to her neighborhood after the Arcade Fire show last night, she discovered that her beloved bike was gone, baby, gone. So this morning she went on Craigslist to buy a new bike, and what did she see but her very own yellow Schwinn with the unmistakable scratch marks, on sale for $75. Before the clock struck 12, she had it back, after participating in a sting with undercover cops outside Peter Luger. The best part? While they were planning the bust, "all of a sudden the cops got a call and dashed off, the uniformed officer making the shape of a gun with his fingers at me (!)"
