A run-of-the-mill OKCupid date went awry when a Brooklyn man, incensed that his date refused to go home with him, allegedly stole her phone and edited her dating profile to announce she was available for threesomes.

The 22-year-old woman, who asked not to be identified, told the Post that the date actually "started out pretty well"—not one instance of theft throughout their entire Union Square outing! “We talked for two weeks before we met in person,” she added.

The brief courtship soured when the woman, a single mother who lives in Queens, declined to return to her date's Williamsburg apartment. "Oh, I understand, nice meeting you," is a standard response to this sort of rejection, but this creepy Casanova instead followed the woman (now victim) to the subway, where he tried to make amends by hurling a water bottle at her.

She escaped, but her date (now a suspect, sought by the cops) managed to make off with her phone. “I guess he doesn’t take rejection well,” the victim surmised. “He was acting like a child.”

In addition to apparently changing the woman's profile to advertise her availability for threesomes, the cretin also texted her friends a strangely sane message: “I’m all right everyone, just a little drunk but I’m home now."

The suspect has not been identified, but good news, ladies: He's probably still single!
