Police are investigating a 25-year-old Queens man's killing and his 62-year-old mother's attempted suicide, the NYPD said.

Authorities said Bryan Wong's mother parked her car on the overpass of the Van Wyck Expressway near Citi Field just before 5 a.m. Wednesday and jumped. She survived the fall and was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Officers later visited her home on 59th Street in Woodside just before 9 a.m. and found Wong on a pull-out sofa bed with cuts to his wrist and the left side of his neck, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police, who later declared the death a homicide.

Neighbors described Wong's mother as stressed, and said she was often seen chain-smoking near her building’s stoop.

“She always looked tired,” neighbor Patricia Guevara said in an interview.

Guevara also said Wong was nonverbal.

“He would only grunt,” she said. “He would never talk.”

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, the NYPD said.
