The NYPD's search for a suspect in a double shooting in Queens last night ended after cops found the alleged suspect dead. The Daily News reports that police discovered a man dead of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound in a car at Prescott Place and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn around 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

The initial shooting incident unfolded around 1:55 a.m. this morning when the alleged shooter entered the 20-60 Deli in Ridgewood, Queens. The News reports that he had been searching for a former employee of the store. A fight broke out, and the suspect allegedly shot a 20-year-old man in the arm; another shot grazed a 23-year-old man on his face.

Both men were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, and are expected to survive.

The NYPD later spotted the suspect driving a Nissan Maxima without its headlights on in Brownsville, Brooklyn. They attempted to stop the vehicle, at which point a shot rang out. A handgun was recovered from inside the car, and the injured suspect was rushed to Interfaith Medical Center, where he died of his injuries. The Post reports that the gunman shot himself in the head.

Cops add that no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. The suspect's name hasn't been released yet.

Elsewhere Sunday morning, another man was hurt in a shooting at East 171st Street and Townsend Avenue in the Bronx at about 1 a.m. He was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center in stable condition. No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
