After an initial suspect in a Brooklyn hit-and-run that took the life of Mega 97.9's DJ Jinx Paul was charged but then released, police have released pictures of three new women who they believe are connected to the crash.
Police say the three women pictured above "were seen entering the suspect's vehicle prior to the collision" that killed Jean Paul Guerrero, a.k.a. DJ Jinx Paul. The car, a black Nissan sedan, is owned by Kevin Ozoria, who had brought the car to a body shop following the crash. Ozoria then turned himself in to police, after a body shop employee called the cops once they saw news reports about the car's connection to Guerrero's death.
After he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death and tampering with physical evidence, Ozoria was let go the by District Attorney because witnesses reported seeing a woman get out of the driver's side door after the crash. After Ozoria turned himself in, his aunt said that he was just covering for his girlfriend, who she claimed was driving at the time.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
