The NYPD has arrested a man whom they say is responsible for a string of elevator muggings in Manhattan and Far Rockaway. Freddie Keitt, 33, is charged with multiple robbery counts in connection with four elevator incidents. The most recent occurred on Saturday night when Keitt allegedly followed an 85-year-old woman into the elevator of her building at 305 West 13th Street, shoved her to the floor, and made off with her purse. Police say Keitt is also the perpetrator of these three elevator muggings:

After Keitt was in custody, surveillance images from the robberies helped investigators connect him to the other three incidents. Acccording to the NYPD, he is "Undomiciled."
