A video game-loving hipster is wanted by the NYPD after he allegedly committed a grand larceny at a Gamestop Store on Thursday.

According to the police, the suspect entered a Gamestop at 43 Westchester Square at 10:53 a.m. on May 8th. He asked an employee about buying a Nintendo 3DS and, while the employee was in the stock room, he "went behind the register and removed $1005 worth of video games from an unlocked drawer and fled the location."

The suspect is described as around 5'6" and was last seen wearing a green vest, plaid shirt and grey beret style cap. He also has a beard and was wearing black framed glasses.

Anyone with information in regards is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
