PATH service between Hoboken and Manhattan was suspended on Wednesday evening due to a power issue at the Hoboken station, according to the Port Authority and NJ Transit.
The outage halted PATH trains between Hoboken and both 33rd Street and the World Trade Center.
The Port Authority said on social media that the Hoboken-33rd and Hoboken-WTC lines would remain suspended through Wednesday evening.
NJ Transit said it was cross-honoring PATH fares on several lines while the disruption continues. Riders can use NJ Transit rail and bus service, including NJ Transit bus 126 between the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Hoboken, officials said.
The NY Waterway ferry between Midtown West 39th Street and Hoboken was also accepting PATH tickets, though that cross-honoring was scheduled to end at 9 p.m.
NJ Transit said customers traveling on Midtown Direct, Morris and Essex and Montclair-Boonton trains should use alternate routes to connect with service.
People coming from Penn Station New York can take NJ Transit trains to Newark Penn Station, then transfer to the Newark Light Rail to Broad Street to connect with westbound Morris and Essex or Montclair-Boonton trains, officials said.
Those with Main-Bergen or Pascack Valley line tickets to or from Hoboken can travel through Secaucus to Penn Station New York instead.
NJ Transit said trains stopping at Secaucus were marked “SEC” on station monitors.
