Cops are searching for a man who grabbed a woman's buttocks as she walked in Manhattan about a month ago. According to investigators, the 24-year-old woman was groped while walking in the crosswalk at the southeast corner of West 14th Street and Fifth Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. on May 4th. Police say an unidentified man grabbed her and then simply walked away.
According to the NYPD, the suspect has salt and pepper hair and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, yellow work boots, eye glasses and carrying an "AND1" black and white book bag. The victim took the above photo with her cellphone.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips anonymously by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
