More human remains were found by the shore in Brooklyn Bridge Park just after midnight on Wednesday, police said — just days after officials found a human skull and bones nearby.
Police said a passerby spotted the remains at 47 Water St. near Jane's Carousel, a century-old attraction that is popular with tourists during the day.
Authorities added that they could not confirm exactly what body parts were discovered.
Officials said it was still unclear whether the discovery was related to bones that a parks enforcement patrol officer found near 55 Water St. on Monday morning.
The chief medical examiner's office was investigating.
This is a developing story and may be updated.
