Police say they suspect a single assailant slashed three men in three different incidents in Brooklyn over the weekend.
Someone slashed the victims on the left side of their faces with an unknown sharp object in all the incidents, NYPD officials said. Police described the attacker as a man wearing all-black or mostly black clothing.
The first attack occurred early Saturday aboard a northbound Q train as it approached the Cortelyou Road station, according to officials. The second occurred Saturday around 10 p.m. on Foster and New York avenues, and the third happened Sunday before 7 a.m. on Newkirk Avenue in East Flatbush, police said.
The victims were 37-, 53- and 56-years -old. They were all taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
The department asked anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or online.
