If you own child pornography—which? gross—you might want to make sure it is well packed when you are moving. Just ask (now former) NYPD auxiliary cop Daniel Sayer. The 59-year-old was arrested this week and charged with two felony counts of possessing child pornography after police allegedly found a "massive" collection in his possession. According to one Greenwood lake resident who saw cops take Sayers away, "He didn’t seem surprised."

After the arrest the NYPD says Sayer was promptly dismissed from his volunteer position as a Deputy Inspector of the Auxiliary unit of the Upper West Side's 20th Precinct. He is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bail in Orange County Jail.

According to State Police, Sayer was in possession of a "massive photo collection of boys under the age of 16 engaging in sexual acts." Said New York State Police Captain Joseph Tripodo, "Obviously, child pornography in and of itself is a terrible crime. Being a part of the auxiliary, you would hope that he would held to a higher standard."

Sayer, who from 1972 to 1998 owned and operated a youth sports program called "Dan’s Cougars Children’s Sports Club," was caught after he began moving into a rental property and his new landlord saw some disturbing photos in his boxes. "Police don't know the identities of the children photographed, but they're hoping to learn who the nameless victims are as the investigation continues."
