An employee at a Bronx McDonald's, around the corner from an NYPD precinct, was fatally stabbed this morning. Adam Garcia, 28, was apparently attacked in the fast food restaurant at 5765 Broadway.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call at 4:27 a.m. and found Garcia with "multiple stab wounds to the torso." He was pronounced dead at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Allen Pavilion.

WABC 7 reports that the victim "got into a dispute with another man, possibly homeless, in the restaurant, according to investigators. Garcia forced the man to leave, but the suspect returned and stabbed the worker in the neck and chest."

Police are investigating. The 50th Precinct is a half block away from the McDonald's.
