The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying six people wanted in connection with a robbery that took place last week in Queens.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred on Wednesday, March 19, around 7:36 p.m. in the vicinity of Mayfair Road and 116th Street, within the 102nd Precinct, which includes parts of Richmond Hill, Kew Gardens and Woodhaven.
Police said five unidentified individuals forcefully entered a location, pushed a 53-year-old woman to the ground and bound her and another 36-year-old woman with tape. The suspects then swiped jewelry, purses, clothing and other items valued at approximately $1.1 million, according to the NYPD.
The group fled the scene with a sixth individual in a white 2021 Toyota RAV4, police said. No injuries were reported.
Images of the suspects were shared by the NYPD and are available through the department’s public information office.
Police asked anyone with information to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)
