A man was stabbed and injured at a McDonald’s in the heart of Times Square early Tuesday, police said — the third stabbing in the vicinity in a week.

Officers responded to 1528 Broadway on the corner of West 45th Street just before 6 a.m. Tuesday for an assault, according to NYPD officials. When police arrived, officials said they found a 27-year-old man with a stab wound to his abdomen.

Paramedics took the man to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, according to authorities. Police said they are looking for potential suspects in the incident.

The attack came just two days after the NYPD said another man was slashed in his left leg around 8 p.m. Sunday near Broadway and West 40th Street. Police said he was also taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, and they have not yet made any arrests in the case.

Detectives are also still looking for two men in connection with a stabbing on Seventh Avenue and West 40th Street last Wednesday, according to officials. Police said a 30-year-old man was slashed in his face and knifed in his back around 2 a.m. by three men when a dispute over a marijuana sale turned violent.

The 30-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, officials said, and one of the suspects was arrested shortly after. Police said the other two suspects ran south on Seventh Avenue.

NYPD data shows felony assaults, which result in serious injuries, ticked up slightly in the Midtown South Precinct last year, with 548 reported compared to 534 by the end of 2024. Midtown South includes Times Square, Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station, Madison Square Garden and Koreatown. Citywide, felony assaults rose less than 1% last year, according to police.

This is a developing story based on preliminary information from police and may be updated.
