That was fast! The LIRR engineer accused of grabbing a female coworker's breast was awarded $480,000 for malicious prosecution after she accused her supervisors of unfairly punishing her for the incident. Locomotive engineer Melissa Stampf was accused of grabbing Angela Trigg's breast, even though Stampf maintains she touched her shoulder as a greeting. The jury took three hours to conclude that Trigg's accusations were bogus, and slapped her with $150,000 in punitive damages.
Stampf said, "I feel like justice has been done and my name is cleared." However, it's not over yet. An LIRR spokesman said "attorneys plan to file a motion challenging the jury's award on the claim against Trigg and are also considering an appeal." There must be breast-jiggling justice!
