If you watch live sex shows on Skype while holding a teddy bear to your face, are you still watching live sex shows on Skype? That was the first question that came to us while reading about a recent lawsuit against Staten Island chemical dependency specialist Dr. Miguel Tirado filed by his former office manager Louise Luzzi. Can you see where this is going?

According to Luzzi, Tirado repeatedly made her watch pornographic materials in the office and eventually fired her over an unpaid overtime dispute. Luzzi says she once entered Tirado’s office and was greeted by a command to "watch this," and a request for her to hand him a teddy bear his children had given for his birthday. Then he booted up the live sex show:

“There was a couple making love on the bed. They were naked. I was embarrassed, humiliated,” said Luzzi, a divorced mom of three.
Tirado covered his face with the stuffed toy, which was dressed in a green party hat and a T-shirt that said, “Happy Birthday.”
“I walked out, I was so upset. He was holding onto his teddy bear. I said, ‘Oh, my God! That is disgusting!’” she fumed.

Luzzi's civil-rights suit is asking that she get unspecified monetary damages and her job back. Tirado, who attended medical school at the SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Medicine and did his Internal Medicine Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, was unavailable when we reached out to Richmond Primary Care Specialists.
