The only reason you should take a train this weekend is to go to the beach—it'll be nearly tolerable this weekend, especially on Saturday; summer is dying, and this may be the last one we ever have, so send this season out with your toes in the sand. Still, there are things to watch out for no matter where you insist on traveling. Here's what's on tap this weekend:

South Ferry-bound 1 trains will make express stops from 145 St to 96 St from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

2 trains will not run between Manhattan and Brooklyn in either direction from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

3 trains will not run from 14 St to New Lots Av in either direction from 11:30 p.m Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

4 trains will operate in both directions between Woodlawn and New Lots Avenues from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, and will run local in Brooklyn. New Lots Av-bound 4 trains will make express stops from Burnside Av to 149 St-Grand Concourse from 6:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, and from 8:45 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday those trains will skip Mosholu Pkwy and Bedford Pk Blvd.

5 trains will not run in either direction between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St, with that change in effect from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

All A trains will run local between 168 St and 145 St from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains are also suspended in both directions between 168 St and Inwood-207 St in both directions, with that change in effect from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

C trains will not run in either direction between 145 St and 168 St from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

D trains will not run in either direction between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and 34 St-Herald Sq from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

All E trains will reroute along the F line from 21 St-Queensbridge to W 4 St-Wash Sq from 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. Trains run local in both directions in Queens from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

All F trains will make local stops from 21 St-Queensbridge to 71 Av from 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Manhattan-bound J trains will run express from Myrtle Av to Marcy Av from 3:45 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday.
