Good Friday afternoon in New York City, where you probably didn't feel the earthquake.
Here's what else is happening:
- The FDNY said 43 people were injured yesterday after a Queens middle schooler who'd bought a can of pepper spray on TikTok Shop allegedly sprayed it around the cafeteria.
- There's a wild turkey traipsing around Manhattan and Long Island City.
- Queens' Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade, which organizers claim is the largest continuously held Memorial Day parade in the country, kicks off on Monday at 2 p.m.
- The Vatican's Medical Council of the Congregation for Saints’ Causes has confirmed that the late computer prodigy and benevolent teen Carlo Acutis, who died of leukemia at 15, is responsible for two miracles, making him the first Millennial to qualify for sainthood.
- Some of you are apparently afraid to send signals into space for the aliens.
- Kabosu, the Shiba Inu dog whose face became the Doge meme, has died at the age of 18.
- Tom Holland got bangs.
- People in Toronto with email jobs are workin' from the Chuck E. Cheese.
- And finally, much RIP:
