It’s Monday afternoon in New York City where our local first responders were told to keep their radio communications mundane so they don’t end up on TikTok.

- Food insecurity is not only a major stressor for some college students in the city, but it can also create an achievement gap, which is why CUNY operates several food pantries, including one out of Hunter College called “The Purple Apron” which is open over the summer as well.
- “Harlem Week,” an annual, 10-day festival celebrating the best of the neighborhood, kicked off yesterday with celebrations at Grant’s Tomb.
- Gen Z may be known for driving fast fashion sales, but credit is due to the generation for simultaneously creating a second-hand shopping experience with digital personal stylists thrifting clothes for you.
- You’ve heard of “Girl Dinner,” but now we also have “Girl Math,” a concept that includes thinking of anything under $5 as free.
- After a week of assumptions, judgements, and speculations of a hoax, Dunkin’ finally confirmed that they are indeed releasing a line of spiked coffee and teas.
- Attendees at the Yankee Stadium Jonas Brothers concert were treated to a rendition of The Killers' hit song "Mr. Brightside," performed by Jimmy Fallon.
- And finally, the things we do for love:
