Good Monday afternoon in New York City, where a storm could ruin the Norway vs. Senegal match tonight.
Here's what else is happening:
- The Norwegian fans are still having fun doing that rowing bit all over town.
- Early voting numbers ahead of tomorrow's primary are very low.
- John Alite, a New Jersey councilman and former mafia hitman who was arrested last week on charges of extortion and making terroristic threats, had baseball bats, metal knuckles, an expandable baton and "two dozen switchblade knives and other types of knives," according to police.
- The Army Corps of Engineers has fired the controversial company hired to build a seawall around the eastern edge of Staten Island, a project that was meant to protect the area against another Sandy-like disaster.
- We could've had this nine-skyscraper Antoni Gaudí hotel.
- Tay Kieth, the Memphis producer behind hits including "Pound Town" and "Look Alive," has died at the age of 29.
- Now that Spirit Airlines is shut down, people are taking the bus.
- Lionel Messi holds the new record for most World Cup goals.
- And finally, forget about your worries and your strife:
