- New York City literary events are packed.
- NPR business editor Uri Berliner has been suspended for five days without pay for writing on Bari Weiss' website that NPR had "lost America's trust" by being too progressive.
- Scientists are trying to create a spray made out of ant pheromones that would theoretically ward off ticks and prevent Lyme disease.
- Meanwhile, British shepherds have discovered that spraying Axe deodorant (it's called Lynx over there) gets male sheep to calm down and stop ramming each other.
- Meghan Markle sent out her first batch of strawberry jam to some famous WAGs.
- "Meerkat Manor," Animal Planet's hit live-action series about a bunch of meerkats in the Kalahari Desert, is getting turned into an animated feature film.
- Newsday reports that wearing denim on denim is cool again.
