Good Monday afternoon in New York City, where the three guys running for Staten Island's open City Council seat agree on a lot of things.
Here's what else is happening:
- A Brooklyn woman in her 30s said she was chased and assaulted by what she described as a mob of 100 Orthodox Jewish men in Crown Heights last Thursday after they allegedly mistook her for an anti-Israeli protester.
- MTA police said they've seized 93 cars for license plate-related violations since the start of congestion pricing.
- Here's what the only Daily News office looks like now that it's been converted into a residential tower.
- After trying and failing to own an Italian soccer team, Mike Piazza is still living outside Milan because his kids love going to school in the area and he appreciates the food and napping culture.
- The Grand Central subway station has a new glass mosaic.
- Yes, that was Miley Cyrus dancing on a Queens rooftop the other day. (It was for a makeup commercial shoot.)
- Today I learned that Zooey Deschanel is engaged to one of the Property Brothers.
- Some fellas just don't like shorts!
