Here’s what else is happening:
- Several people have reported seeing mysterious drones in the skies above Bergen County in New Jersey for nearly a month now. Gov. Phil Murphy said residents shouldn’t be worried about them as they don’t seem to pose a threat.
- It’s the end of an Era(s) tour as Taylor Swift closed out her concert series after 21 months on the road with a final show in Vancouver.
- The New York Giants are doing so bad that tickets to their games are reselling for as low as $1.
- Crumbl cookies are to desserts what Supreme is to streetwear.
- Merriam Webster’s word of the year "polarization." Here’s why.
- New York City caps the number of sightseeing helicopter trips that can take off from Pier 6 in Manhattan, but officials are considering lifting those restrictions for electric aircraft in hopes that more operators will make the switch.
- TikTok said small businesses and content creators could lose $1.3 billion in revenue and earnings in just one month if the app is banned in the U.S. come Jan. 19.
- And finally, who's that peeking in my window?
