- Stop & Shop is closing 32 stores along the East Coast, 22 of which are in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
- The family of a teen who died in September after participating in a viral spicy tortilla chip challenge is suing Hershey, Walgreens and several others for allegedly creating a “perfect storm” that led to the 10th grader’s death.
- In other lawsuit news: A JetBlue passenger is suing the airlines, claiming she suffered severe burns after being served scalding hot tea during turbulence on her flight.
- It’s the 50th anniversary of the release of the novel “Jaws,” which became a cultural phenomenon touching on themes bigger than just shark attacks.
- We’re living in a Zynpocalypse.
