Good Friday morning in New York City, where in-unit washer-dryers are very hot right now.
Here's what else is happening:
- About 100 people were arrested yesterday after filling the Trump Tower atrium to protest ICE's detention of Mahmoud Khalil.
- City Comptroller and mayoral candidate Brad Lander said he wants to pave over four of the city's 12 municipal golf courses to make room for more housing.
- NBC4 sent an undercover weed shopper to some cannabis dispensaries in the city and discovered that they're not all checking IDs to make sure customers are at least 21.
- We salute the person at a Long Island junkyard who rescued a litter of kittens from the floor of a car moments before it was about to be demolished.
- "I didn’t even know how to drive this damn car": Gear shifts in brand new vehicles are weird as hell.
- Everything is breakfast.
- A $2 bill is indeed a perfect gift for a child, or anyone.
- Nothin' like sunrise in the city!
