Good Wednesday morning in New York City, where Mayor Eric Adams has refused to share his opinion on ICE's arrest of pro-Palestinian activist and legal U.S. resident Mahmoud Khalil.
Here's what else is happening:
- Mayor Adams did say yesterday that he's annoyed at the press for covering Khalil's detention while not showing "support" for him over a new federal legal filing that, according to the mayor, suggests his corruption charges were politically motivated.
- Gov. Kathy Hochul this week followed through on her promise to fire the 2,000 state correction officers who didn't return to work after after their wildcat strike.
- The number of NYPD school safety agents has declined 28% over the past five years, driven partly by high attrition and the fact that the starting salary is $37,000 a year.

- Seniors with Parkinson’s disease are thriving at the city's Ping-Pong clubs.
- The South Street Seaport is getting a Meow Wolf.
- Here's what happened when a millennial who fancies ankle-length jeans and a Zoomer who likes those big ol' pooling jeans traded pants.
- In other style news: pigeon on the catwalk.
