Good Wednesday morning in New York City, where maybe we could let churches build housing.
Here's what else is happening:
- Mayor Adams on Andrew Cuomo yesterday: "He’s taking votes away from me — I’m the mayor! Why is he in my race?"
- The city's Department of Transportation has said that "daylighting," or banning parking on the corners of intersections, actually leads to more crashes because drivers speed when they have a clear line of sight. It's actually more complicated than that.
- In Greenpoint, $10,000 a month can get you a luxury waterfront apartment with mice, weird noises and broken gym equipment.
- Staten Island buses are slow and they're making people miss the ferry.
- Last night's unsanctioned Lorde show in Washington Square Park got shut down by the cops because ... it wasn't sanctioned ... but Lorde still eventually showed up to say hi.
- Barron Trump isn't allowed to give people his phone number so he chats with his friends over Xbox.
- Barron's dad greeted little kids at the White House Easter Egg Roll by showing them a commemorative card with the image of him getting shot in the ear.
- They're doing the Ice Bucket Challenge again, but this time it's for mental health.
