Good Tuesday morning in New York City, where all the disruption in East Harlem around the Second Avenue subway extension will be done ... in five years or so.
Here's what else is happening:
- City & State discovered that 52 of Mayor Mamdani's appointees receive full-time, city-funded chauffeur service.

- Luigi Mangione said he wants his Manhattan murder trial to be broadcast live.
- The WalkNYC app, which appears to be like Strava but for walking specifically in New York City, was hit with a cease and desist letter from the city's transportation department demanding that it change its name.
- Date night in New York City can be expensive...
- ...though it's possible through some "opaque" program to get $20 tickets to an Olivia Rodrigo concert.
