Good Thursday morning in New York City, where City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams has filed paperwork to form an official mayoral campaign committee.

Here's what else is happening:

• The MTA said it's bringing back its program for children with autism to record public service announcements for the subway system.
• Pro-Palestinian demonstrators briefly staged a sit-in at Barnard College yesterday to protest the expulsion of two students who'd disrupted a class on modern Israeli history. (The school said yesterday's protesters also assaulted a security guard in the process of entering a campus building.)
• Gov. Kathy Hochul yesterday ordered Hunter College to remove a job posting for a Palestinian studies professor.
• "French Connection" star Gene Hackman and his wife, classical pianist Betsy Arakawa, were found dead yesterday at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
• Mayor Adams is back on the private nightclub circuit.
• Jeff Bezos is "of America."
• Band-Aid heir and Jets owner Woody Johnson was ranked by the team's players as the worst owner in the NFL.
• "'The Baldwins' is grimmer than you imagined."
