Good Wednesday morning in New York City, where you have to separate your food scraps from the rest of your trash.
Here's what else is happening:
- Access-A-Ride travel times below 60th Street in Manhattan have sped up since the start of congestion pricing.
- Speaking of vehicle surcharges, check out Singapore.
- Michael's Italian bakery in Marine Park is closing after 31 years in business. (Michael's restaurant across the street, known for its jarred sauce and political power-brokering, remains very much open.)
- Beachwood Beach on the Toms River in New Jersey will again be closed this summer due to high levels of bacteria in the water.
- I'd watch a reality show about Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito competing for the Giants' starting quarterback spot, and all the hijinks that happen along the way.
- A tech startup bought Napster for $207 million with the hope of turning it into a social media platform for bands.
- Leave Paddington alone, guys.
- Achoo!
