A woman was pinned to a Downtown Brooklyn coffee shop on Friday afternoon after two drivers collided.

Waddie Grant, a customer who was working at the Devoción on the corner of Livingston and Bond, said he didn't notice the crash at first.

"I had my Apple earbuds in, listening to my music, writing, and I heard a boom," Grant said. "I thought it was like an explosion somewhere, but I didn't react until I saw the people on my left and right to look at my direction, then I jumped up and said, 'Oh my God! Oh my God!'"

An SUV driver had crashed directly behind him, pinning a pedestrian to the side of the building. Grant called the police.

"I heard the lady under the car screaming," Grant said. "Then she stopped. That scared me."

According to the FDNY, the woman and the driver of the SUV were taken to Methodist Hospital with non life-threatening conditions.

An NYPD spokesperson said that the SUV driver was traveling west, and the driver of a silver Ford was traveling east when they crashed. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.

One witness told the Brooklyn Paper that the driver of the silver Ford was turning from Livingston Street: "The guy tried to beat the light.”

Grant said he left before the woman was extracted. "I was shaken up. Dang, I coulda been killed!"
