Carlos Rivera, also known as Power 105's DJ Blaze, was shot 13 times early yesterday morning at an apartment building in Inwood. A neighbor who heard the gunfire found Rivera in the lobby of 578 Academy Street. It's unclear why he was shot, but a diamond-and-gold chain that says "CB," worth $20,000, was missing. Rivera is in critical condition at Harlem Hospital.
Rivera lives in NJ with his family, but his booking agent told the Post Rivera grew up in Washington Heights, so it "wasn't surprising Rivera was on Academy Street."
