Guess who's not joining the C'mon LeBron bandwagon? Yankees captain Derek Jeter! The World Series champ told ESPN New York, "It wouldn't make sense."

Specifically, it wouldn't make sense given they play in different fields, "If I were going to another baseball team, how would a basketball player help? I don't play basketball. I have nothing to do with that." Jeter added, "He's a nice guy. He's a big Yankee fan so I've gotten to meet him. I probably think of him as a player like everyone thinks of him as a player -- he can do anything."

This comes after Knicks president Donnie Walsh expressed a desire for many New Yorkers to help lure the coveted forward to NYC. Walsh discussed the wooing with Steve Serby, "Just the opportunity is phenomenal here right now, particularly for a high-level player. I think this city would embrace it, and the guy would probably experience celebrity and fortune and all that beyond what he thinks he can."
