Not only is craiglist great for looking for apartments, a handyman, or that cute guy or gal on the F train, it's also a place to traffic drugs - and to shut down illegal drug trafficking. The NYPD arrested a man for selling crystal meth on craigslist. Dealers tend to use the personals section of the site, with code words like "Tina" for crystal meth and "ski" for cocaine. Craigslist founder Craig Newmark told the Post he relies on users to help crack down on illegal activities by flagging suspicious users. A free market with an online citizens' patrol! And to think, the only thing Gothamist was annoyed about craigslist was a misleading listing for a used guitar.
