Police are hoping the public can help them identify two people seen running from a car where a 44-year-old was found fatally shot in the Bronx.
According to the NYPD, they responded to a 911 call about a "male slumped over in his car in front of 1023 East 217 Street" on Thursday morning. When police arrived, they found Paul Dwyer, 44, "behind the wheel of a grey Honda Pilot unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the torso." He was pronounced dead at Montefiore Hospital.
Police obtained surveillance video showing two males running the Honda and say, "Detectives would like to interview the two men in the video in regards to the homicide."
Anyone with information in regards to this homicide, or the identity of the two men, is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
