The 80th annual Columbus Day parade steps off at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

The parade is preceded by a mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, then starts on Fifth Avenue at 44th Street and continues north to 72nd Street.

The day's festivities will include marching bands, floats, dance performances and food celebrating Italian American culture.

The parade concludes at around 3:30 p.m.

The following roads will be closed, according to the city’s Department of Transportation.

A festival will also take place as part of the day’s festivities on Broadway between Liberty Street and Battery Place
