The police arrested a suspect in the murder of a 21-year-old man in Ridgewood, Queens, who was killed last week.

Police say that on March 14, at 1:15 a.m., Eric Santiago, a Brooklyn resident, was shot while standing opposite of 1665 Palmetto Street, between Cypress and St. Nicholas Avenues. Apparently the shooter had approached Santiago, shot him in the torso and then fled. Santiago then brought himself to Wyckoff Hospital, where he died.

Last night, the NYPD announced that Ricardo Delgado, 20, had been arrested for Santiago's murder as well as criminal possession of a weapon. A motive is unclear.
