Police on Monday were asking people to look out for a 94-year-old woman who they said went missing from her Brooklyn home over the weekend during dangerously cold temperatures.
NYPD officials said Elena Fumara was last seen shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday inside the Myrtle–Wyckoff Avenues subway station in Bushwick.
She was heading to see some friends and never made it back to her home on Eldert Street near Knickerbocker Avenue, according to police.
Fumara was believed to be in good health and frequents the station where she was last spotted, officials said.
Police said she is about 5'3” and 115 pounds, and has a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Fumara was wearing a green jacket, gray leggings and a red purse when she was last seen, according to officials.
Wind chills overnight Saturday and Sunday dropped below zero degrees, meteorologists said. Temperatures were not expected to exceed freezing until Tuesday.
Police are asking anyone with information about her to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit their tips on the Crime Stoppers website.
