An elderly man was found stabbed to death in a Brooklyn apartment building on Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Ramon Cintron, 83, was found unconscious and unresponsive at the Wyckoff Gardens apartments at 185 Nevins St. with stab wounds to his neck and right arm at around 2:21 p.m., police said.
Cintron was declared dead at the scene by EMS.
Police said the suspect in Cintron's killing is also suspected of slashing a 31-year-old woman in the right thigh around an hour before and two blocks away, at 134 Nevins St.
According to police, the woman was entering the restaurant Rice & Miso, but then felt pain and noticed she had been slashed. She was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition, police said. A call made to the restaurant Saturday evening was not returned.
Police on Sunday said 26-year-old Joevani Vale is wanted for questioning in both attacks. He was last seen wearing a navy hoodie and cap, black pants and white sneakers, according to the NYPD.
This story was updated to include the names of the victim and suspect.
Isidoro Rodriguez contributed reporting.
