Police on Thursday said they were looking for suspects connected to a suspected arson of eight NYPD vehicles in Brooklyn overnight.
Department officials said the vehicles were stored in a parking lot on the corner of Central and Dekalb avenues in Bushwick, a few blocks from the 83rd Precinct stationhouse.
Police and firefighters responded to calls about the fire around 1:30 a.m., officials said. Video posted on social media shows several firetrucks filling the street at the scene.
No injuries were reported in the incident. The NYPD said it did not make any immediate arrests.
This is a developing story based on preliminary information from police and may be updated.
