A brother and sister who were reported missing after the siblings left their home in Queens around noon Monday were found and safely returned home three days later, police said on Thursday.

NYPD officials said Carl Smith, 12, and his younger sister Colleen Rahmam-Smith, 11, walked out of their house on 195th Street and 120th Avenue in Jamaica on Monday after getting into an argument with their grandmother, whom they live with. They were reported found safely Thursday night and returned home, the NYPD said.

Police said it was the first time either of the kids has gone missing. There was no further information available as to where they were while they were missing.

This story has been updated since police said the brother and sister had been found and returned home safely.
