Two men died overnight Thursday into Friday in separate incidents in Queens and Manhattan that police said appeared to be domestic in nature.

NYPD officers responded to a call about an assault at 101st Street and Liberty Boulevard in South Ozone Park around 10:45 p.m. Thursday and found a 23-year-old man lying in the street with severe injuries, according to department officials.

Emergency workers took him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The NYPD did not identify him as they worked to notify his family, and his death was not immediately ruled a homicide.

Just after 4 a.m. Friday, police responded to a 911 call about an unconscious man inside an apartment building on West 138th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem.

Officers found a 34-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his legs, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His death was not immediately ruled a homicide, though officials said it also seemed to be the result of a domestic incident.

Officials did not identify the man as they worked to notify his family, and they had no description of a possible suspect later Friday morning.

This is a developing story based on preliminary information from police and may be updated.
