Over a dozen alleged crack cocaine and heroin drug traffickers were busted in a massive raid in a Brooklyn housing project.

According to the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor, undercover cops have managed to purchase crack cocaine, heroin and other drugs over 100 times since March from several alleged traffickers working out of the Farragut Houses in Vinegar Hill. Yesterday, cops raided four apartments in the housing project, yielding three firearms, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Officials also arrested 14 individuals they believe are connected to the trafficking ring. One suspect, 30-year-old James Suggs, reportedly jumped out the window of his second floor apartment when cops arrived, though he ended up landing in front a cop and was arrested. Other defendants include 29-year-old Jaquan Moore—who was charged with the most drug sales—20-year-old Rashad Jackson, 55-year-old Warren Cook and 18-year-old Eulonda Davis.

Authorities say the Farragut Houses have been plagued with gang violence, and a number of reported incidents and fatalities apparently sparked the year-long investigation into the alleged drug ring.

Cops say drug sales were conducted in building lobbies, near a playground and in nearby delis and eateries. "Guns and drugs threaten the safety and security of too many of our city's public housing residents," Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget G. Brennan said in a statement today. "The arrests we announce today shut down a major supplier of cocaine to gangs that traffic narcotics in Farragut Houses, and removed guns readily available to spawn violence and chaos in this community."
